Industry Mentorship Program
Active members from honors society or students from the Honors Program are eligible to apply to this selective industry mentorship program. An industry leader will be paired up with a student and meet on a regular basis throughout the semester and serve as a role model for the student.
Purpose:
- To bridge the disconnect between industry and the classroom by allowing students to get to know an industry leader on a one-on-one basis.
- To help improve basic student needs when pursuing an internship/full time position. Examples include phone interviewing tips and/or practice, resume critiquing, networking, among other general industry standards.
- Enhance the value of being in an Honors Society or the Honors Program by providing candidates the opportunity to expand their network.
